Janis Craft
Janis Craft writes plays for and with adults, teenagers, people struggling with homelessness, and anyone who enjoys stories coming alive on stage. Her work has been presented in the US, Canada, and France, published by NeWest Press, and has earned her fellowships from the Edward Albee Foundation and the Illinois Arts Council. In addition to teaching playwriting, theatre, and writing here and abroad, Janis has also worked on a variety of projects as a director, dramaturg, choreographer, curator, producer, poet, editor and flamenco dancer and is a yoga teacher with Mindful Practices.
